Unlike the tribal stage (which I didn’t like at all) or the civ stage. Both fun but really simple in essence. There’s one thing you have to do depending on what of the 3 end results you’re after. And it’s just a matter of do it once, and then repeat enough times to win. And also there’s no option to increase the mouse scroll rate of the map when you’re moving around in it. it’s just so slow in the tribal stage.

So in principle it’s not the longest game ever. Well the first 4 stages that is. I finished them all in one go in about 7 hours. And that’s with exploring for a while after I was told to evolve to the next stage.

But what is the winner for me is the idea behind the game. That the game is better than the sum of it’s 5 parts. As a whole it’s a really good game. And very innovative.

So for me I’d give it a 90% overall. I’s really good, extremely good. But not one of those games that oozes perfection in every way (well graphically and soundwise yes). But there’s no force there driving me to play it 24 hours a day without sleep. Like Zelda OOT and TP, Starcraft, Diablo 1 and 2 etc) have done for me.

SO yes a 90. But with a recommendation for everyone to check it out at least once. Well worth the cash laid down for it.
